New Interview online by Des Moines is Not Boring.com

A new interview was published today conducted by Amanda Gorsche Miller for Des Moines is Not Boring.com

Here is an excerpt:

Day is now preparing to shoot a different type of documentary he describes as more of an “art-house film” or a “midnight-movie-style documentary” about local metal artist, James Bearden. Day describes the film, “James Bearden: Man of Metal,” as a surreal and avant garde-style film featuring Bearden’s metal sculptures, which Day describes as “antiques of the future.”

“James is building pieces from a post-apocalyptic mind,” Day says. He says the film is inspired by a style of documentary called “mondo film” from the 1960‘s and will mesh well with Bearden’s personality and unusual art.
